Proofreading/Copy Editing is based on a word count of the manuscript.
Short story 7,500 to 8,500: $250
Novelette 7,500 to 17,500: $425
Novella 17,500 to 40,000: $1,000
Novel (Includes Collections and Anthologies) 40,000 to 100,000: $2,125
For novels over a word count of 100,000, please ask for a quote.
Formatting of any of the above is $35/hour with a two (2) hour minimum.
